While lengthy cruise itineraries don't often make Deal of the Day, these two sailings from Orion Expeditions caught our eye because the adventure line doesn't often discount its South Pacific trips. On offer are two schedules at 25 percent off regular rates, one departing March 7 and the other leaving March 23.
The first is a 16-night trip departing Auckland on March 7 and arriving in Cairns, with ports of call in Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands, and Papua New Guinea. Discounted fares start at $7,580, down from the usual $10,105. The other sailing is an 11-night round trip from Cairns on March 23, with stops along the coastline of Papua New Guinea, starting from $5,735, down from $7,645.
