Save 40% this winter at the ski-in, ski-out Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch
There's no time like the present for planning your ski vacation; after all, some U.S. ski resorts are already seeing their first flurries. Here's a deal in Beaver Creek, Colorado, that caught our attention not only because of the big discount, but also because it extends past the December holidays.
The luxurious ski-in, ski-out Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, is offering rooms from $249 per night (or $273, including tax) for most of the winter skiing season—lower than anything we've seen from this hotel before during these prime skiing months. Rooms here were starting at $399 (before tax) last winter, so that's nearly 40% savings over last year.
We test-booked a three-night stay from February 4 through February 7, 2010 and found availability for a Resort View room with a king or two double beds for $819, or $273 per night (including taxes).
The catch? You must book by October 24— that's tomorrow!—to get these rates. So move quickly.
Book: Through the hotel's website, no special codes needed.
For travel dates: November 25, 2009 through April 11, 2010, holidays excluded.
Condé Nast Traveler approved: The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch made the 2003 Hot List of new hotels and is also a perennial Gold List property.
