Before we dive into today's Deal of the Day, an admission: We know that paying $363 a night for a hotel room or $3,900 for a week's beach vacation is hardly inexpensive travel. But while the current promotions at COMO Hotels and Resorts still have some serious price tags attached to them, they also let you sample several luxurious, Condé Nast Traveler tried-and-tested places at substantial discounts.
(1) The Metropolitan London has been attracting a well-heeled following for its sleek rooms and its ground-level Nobu restaurant (it landed on Condé Nast Traveler's Hot List of new hotels in 1998). Under the Ultimate Savings offer, if you book at least two nights, seven days in advance, you can get a room for a discounted rate of $363 a night (after fees and taxes). Depending on the dates you book, the savings can be slight—or substantial. Some nights, the best available rate is $381, meaning the offer saves you just 5%. On nights the best available rate is a budget-blasting $600, the discount is an impressive 40%.
Dates: Now through December 31, 2009, for stays from Sunday through Thursday only. Subject to availability.
How to Book: Go to the promotions page on the Metropolitan London's Web site and select the "Ultimate Savings" deal.
After the jump are two more hotel savings that we like from COMO Hotels and Resorts.
(2) A former YMCA turned world-class hotel, the Metropolitan Bangkok appeared on the Hot List in 2004 (our reviewer liked the interior's "raw-silk bed covers, streamlined teak furniture, impeccable lighting, and a drop-dead gorgeous bathroom").
The hotel's Ultimate Savings offer is similar to its London sibling -- book at least two nights, seven days in advance—although at much lower overall rates. With the promotion, you'll pay $233 for two nights versus the best available rate of $341—that's 32% off (all prices are after fees and taxes).

(3) Parrot Cay is a celeb-fave, minimalist retreat in the Caribbean island nation of Turks & Caicos—it landed on Condé Nast Traveler's Hot List in 1999 and on the magazine’s Gold List of the world's best places to stay. (Read author Jenny Finney Boyland's take on the resort and the surrounding islands in her 2006 feature, Rainbow's End.)
Now, under the Extend That Summer Feeling offer, you can stay for four nights and pay for three for a price of $2,340, down from the usual $3,210, or stay for seven nights and pay for five for a price of $3,900, down from $5,460 (all prices include fees and taxes). In the four-for-three deal, your nightly rate works out to be $585, and for the seven-for-five one, it's $557—that's 25% and 29%, respectively, off the regular daily rate of $780.
Dates: Book now through December 20, 2009. Blackout dates apply.
How to Book: Go to the promotions page on Parrot Cay's Web site and select either the "4 for 3" or "7 for 5" deal.
